Aww crud! I don't believe it! I just downloaded 2.0.9 and have just got through testing it on Mandriva and reporting back!
I had to change permissions on /home/vpopmail and /home/vpopmail/lib/libvpopmail.a but otherwise, it worked pretty much out the box. So, what's the holdup? :D This is so so so much earlier than courier-*. Do you have an existing, .rpm file for dovecot?
