On another note, qtp-newmodel still reports "No package dkms-fuse
available." I had seen in the archives Eric had promised to work on
that...

I think that's more of a reminder/warning than an error. I see there's a
ticket for this already. I hope to have some time soon to knock off a
few tickets in QTP, and I expect that will be one of them.
