now i have done some working with it and it is authenticating smtp
but problem is that it also send message without authentication.
Please post your tcp.smtp from /etc/tcprules.d/tcp.smtp. That may give
some indication.

can you elaborate how vpopmail-toaster authenticate users..
Regards,
http://www.inter7.com/index.php?page=vpopmail
Vpopmail-Toaster authenticates against a mysql database (typically
called vpopmail). The login details for vpopmail mysql user are
provided in the file :
/home/vpopmail/etc/vpopmail.mysql.
The current schema is one table per domain (This is likely to
change in future versions of QmailToaster). Each domain has a
table named in the format example_com (for the domain example.com
<http://example.com>). The structure of the table is :
+-----------------+-----------+------+-----+---------+-------+
| Field | Type | Null | Key | Default | Extra |
+-----------------+-----------+------+-----+---------+-------+
| pw_name | char(32) | NO | PRI | NULL | |
| pw_passwd | char(40) | YES | | NULL | |
| pw_uid | int(11) | YES | | NULL | |
| pw_gid | int(11) | YES | | NULL | |
| pw_gecos | char(48) | YES | | NULL | |
| pw_dir | char(160) | YES | | NULL | |
| pw_shell | char(20) | YES | | NULL | |
| pw_clear_passwd | char(16) | YES | | NULL | |
+-----------------+-----------+------+-----+---------+-------+
pw_name = mail user id (without the domain) eg : [email protected]
<mailto:[email protected]> would be bob.
Password is stored in sha1 format as well as clear text format.
Going forward the clear text format may be removed.
Hope this helps.
