To be sure of what's happening, I'd ask this question on the vpopmail list.
Quotas in vpopmail 5.4.x were broken for quite some time. They're
reportedly fixed in 5.4.33, but I can't confirm this, as I don't use
quotas. There's also a new vpopmaild process, which might be required to
keep quotas accurate. I'm not sure about this. BL, I don't know a heck
of a lot about quotas except that they were broken and are reportedly
fixed now. I expect that something would need to be done to fix the
erroneous quota data that exists from previous versions. Again, I don't
know or remember seeing anything about this.
Also, as someone indicated, I've got a bunch of .qmail-blah aliases which dont
seem to be working. So guessing that method is obsolete as well. So I'm
writing a script to convert all the .qmail-??? files into sql statements.
Probably me. :) Yeah, forwards (former known as aliases) are stored in
the database now.
