Hello list,
I am getting the following error when a local QMT user tries to send an
email to a remote hotmail account. Can anyone tell me why I would be
getting such a message in the SMTP log?

chkuser is having a problem with dns, probably verifying the sender's
domain.
Just curious, does the problem exist if the user is configured to use
port 587 instead of port 25?
I would expect so.
Do you have any records in your hosts file corresponding to that domain?
What's in your /etc/resolv.conf file?
Which local resolver are you using (pdns-recursor or caching-nameserver?)
