Of course, spamdyke can only be effective when it's on the perimeter
(talking directly with the sending server). As a result, an smtp gateway
is generally not recommended for use with QMT. Conceptually, QMT has its
own smtp gateway built in. I don't see any real advantage to having the
smtp gateway being a separate host, although this will be easily doable
in a future QMT release.
The only thing you appear to have in your SMTP gateway that's not in QMT
is amavisd-new. Jake had intentions of replacing simscan with
amavisd-new which never materialized, but I haven't given up on that.
amavisd-new will likely replace simscan in a future release.
