Dan,

Is there any logging info in '/var/log/qmail/spamd/current' and are the
permissions and owner set correctly on your spamassassin directory
(/etc/mail/spamassassin/.spamassassin)? The owner should be
vpopmail:vchkpw and permission drwxr-x-r-x.
