Hello list,

FYI

Due to the current nature of the way QMT/COS7 is updated--not by a repo
but manually--I found it necessary to add the following 3 lines to
/etc/yum.conf so that standard QMT packages are not over written when
running 'yum update'.

exclude=daemontools* ucspi-tcp* libsrs2* libsrs2-devel* vpopmail*
spamdyke* qmail* autorespond*
exclude=control-panel* ezmlm* ezmlm-cgi* qmailadmin* qmailmrtg*
maildrop* maildrop-devel* isoqlog* vqadmin*
exclude=squirrelmail* spamassassin* clamav* ripmime* simscan* mailman*
mailman-debuginfo* dovecot*

When doing an update on my QMT/COS7 test server spamassassin, dovecot,
and clamav were over-written and rendered useless. In order to be safe I
added all the QMT packages, though only some are most likely necessary,
to the exclude list in the yum configuration file.
