I've created several COS7 VM's on VMWare and about ~50 VM's on Proxmox VE (where I do my testing). On the version of Proxmox(4.1-1) which I'm using, when one sets up the hard disk it must have a cache of 'write back' or 'write through' to work instead of 'no cache' which doesn't work at all (It won't boot from the ISO). I'm not sure if VMWare has a similar setting as well.

I'm running it on CentOS 7 with no problem using those same files. I'm
on a VPS though, I didn't try it in VMWare.

Hi Eric,
I simply cannot get a version of COS7 to install
in a VMWare VM!
Will the files you gave me work with COS6?

best wishes
