Has anyone encountered the following problem before: msg from [email protected] is sent to [email protected] and then this message is forwarded from the toaster to [email protected]
so userA is using DMARC for his domain when forwarding the message my toaster gets a response from Gmail that DMARC verification failed for non-qmail-host-with-dmarc-in-use.com but if the msg is sent directly from [email protected] to [email protected] it gets through ok. so the problam is in the middle with the toaster the error msg from Gmail being: <[email protected]>: User and password not set, continuing without authentication. <[email protected]> serveri-ip-here failed after I sent the message. Remote host said: 550-5.7.1 Unauthenticated email from non-qmail-host-with-dmarc-in-use.com is not accepted due to 550-5.7.1 domain's DMARC policy. Please contact the administrator of 550-5.7.1 non-qmail-host-with-dmarc-in-use.com domain if this was a legitimate mail.
