I think the better option would be to find the offending package and
downgrade that.

Hi Friends,
I have run the yum updates on my centos 7.7 to upgrade 7.9 yesterday.
And acronis backup software was running on 7.7 fine, After upgrading
to 7.9 the acronis is not supported and the acronis team has given the
support 7.7 and 7.8 version.
I have run below command for updates on my centos 7.7
sudo yum update.
Any possible way to roll back to 7.7 again from 7.9 without affecting
my email server.
Has anyone faced a similar issue?
Appreciate your help.

Hi Eric,
Thanks for the update.
Yes, I have updated the first clamav conversion from 102
to 103 then I ran yum update. It was
successfully updated all the packages.
but i have one issue now, We are unable to send email,
outgoing is not working.
I have tried 25,587,465 ports, none of that working.
when i tried from telnet all above ports were opening.
I have usually used 587 with Starttls for outgoing.
Can you help me with anything I need to do on the server
or do I need to run tls certificate again.
letsencrypt certificate is running with an end date 21st
Feb 2021.

You should be okay. I do updates from the console or
use 'screens' when using putty, so that, in case of
session failure the update continues and doesn't
stop in the middle of the update.
