# prefix = INBOX.
# Use 'prefix = INBOX.' for Courier-IMAP compatible transparent migration.
# This forces all client apps to create subfolders underneath/within
# the inbox instead of adjacent to it. It's not necessary to be that way.
# FWIW, shubes thinks this setting is annoying/rediculous/retarded.
# As a practical example, having no prefix allows mobile users to select

sync'd.

Dear list,
several years ago I created a QMT server with CentOS 5 running about
15 domains with Qmail, Vpopmail CourierIMAP and Squirrelmail.
I created a new server with Rocky Linux 8, Qmail, Dovecot and
Roundcube with a new domain and it works fine.
Now I successfully moved one of the domains of the old server to the
new one following istructions found here:
http://www.qmailtoaster.net/migrate.html and here
http://www.qmailtoaster.net/manydom.html but I noticed a different
behaviour with Outlook and IMAP folders.
In Outlook account's options there is "inbox" in the IMAP prefix and
users created some folders under Inbox, now in the new server I see
those folders out of the Inbox and I need to subscribe them if I want
to see them in Outlook.
Is there a way to "transparent" migrate domains from Courier-IMAP to
Dovecot?
Thanks to all that will help me.
