Hi Rick,

I vote for QxHttpTransport and for the encoder/decoder it should be QxHttpTransportEncoder (which then will be the superclass of QxHttpTransportEncoderJSON, QxHttpTranportEncoderURL etc.)

I vote for QxHttpTransport , but not for QxHttpTransportEncoder , because in my opinion this area has nothing todo with the http transport. QxEncoder and QxEncoderJson in ok. And please keep all camel case in the classnames. We have decided not to keep uppercase words in classnames some month ago. E.g. not QxEncoderJSON, but QxEncoderJson.

Best regards.

Hi all,

In line with this class that I'm working on, I propose the following name for the core class:

QxTransport

I acknowledge that this may be too generic for some people's tastes, so I alternatively propose:

QxHTTPTransport

There are other classes that I suspect will make up this solution, but was hoping that a name could be agreed upon before I mention those.

With the discussions that have taken place on the list (thanks to all who participated), I have a decent smattering of information with which to write up a draft for the API, along with class and interation diagrams (my preference for these is UML, but I'm flexible if anyone has a favoured OO modelling language).

Best regards,

Chris
