How can I get QxListView to resize itself correctly?
With the new QxTree, if you setHeight to auto, the widget will draw
itself correctly based on the dimensions of the container object (in
my case, a QxInline). If that container changes size, QxTree resizes
itself automatically.
However, in QxListView, if you don't explicitly setHeight to a hard
pixel value before it is rendered, it will not display at all. If you
attempt to change the height after the widget is rendered, all sorts
of weird things happen (scrollbar does not resize and list cells are
no longer visible - but they do still response to events).
The chain of events leading to rendering and responding to container
changes is pretty obscure. Any pointers would be helpfull.
yeah, crazy stuff. I have just created an small example. It is really
buggy. I could not tell if we get this fixed before christmas, as I am
currently developing the new appearance stuff. I also could not give you
any pointers as I am astonished myself.
