Hi all,
I'm hoping someone can give me a hand with the following - I'm writing
some stuff for Qooxdoo and want to be able to do the sort of type
checking that Qooxdoo properties do, specifically:
* Checking that a passed argument is a specific class, or
* Checking that a passed argument inherits from a given class.
Qooxdoo properties perform these checks when using the "instance" and
"classname" parameters respectively.
To do this in my own code (where using Qooxdoo properties isn't
appropriate), is it simply a matter of checking the object's "classname"
or "instance" members?
Best regards,
