Replacing umlauts with there codes will me more acceptable.
You can also offer some option for make.sh to made iconv from ISO to some
encoding.
I am not sure im the codes will work there, as I want to replace these
characters. Have you ever tested this? If so please submit a (working)
patch. Thanks.
