xinha is something like a clean "htmlarea" replacement, is it?
I don't know the API there enough to say, but I think it's easier to
build a lightweight editor component first and handle all the
toolbar/popup/dialog stuff with the already existing qooxdoo widgets. To
convert a "big" editor like xinha could be really hard. To copy some
features from there afterwards would be easier IMHO.
