for qooxdoo to improve speed

I don't know how a obfuscator should improve the speed. In my opinion it encrypts stuff and if the genereal API should work afterwards you need to push all the stuff through an "eval" like Dean Edwards great compressor does. This costs some performance and does not make it faster.

But if you know something different I am really interested in hearing from something like this.

for javascript to improve speed and make it difficult for others to use
your own code.

Ok, for your own code this is understandable. Just for qooxdoo I see no reason why a simple compressor should not be enough already.
