I was a bit busy the last days. Sorry for this. I have started this morning to handle your mail. It seems to be really a bug in our layout handling. But also you example is a bit wrong. You should not define some of your given values. I have attached my working example for this.

expexted result: button "f2" grow and shrink when I click on it,
But after f1 became invisible button f2 still has old size.

This problem detected only with button inserted into VerticalBox.
