If you are interested, you could also update your application to our
current development version. In many areas it is faster than the old one.
If "icons show up with grey background in IE" there seems to be
something wrong with the AlphaImageLoader which is used to correctly
handle PNG transpareny in qooxdoo. In the qooxdoo demo it looks good. So
I think it must related to your application. Please be sure to not
integrate other PNG hacks like the well-known one from Webfx as this
probably break parts of qooxdoo. Other then this I have currently no
further idea what the exact problem in your case is.

which version of qooxdoo are you using? RENDERER (development 0.2_rc1 )
or HEAD (0.1.4)?
