Had a go, but it's not failing reliably enough. At times it starts working 
fine.

I've only seen it happen on IE6. I traced through the code using the 
Venkman debugger and it appeared to be OK. However, with my limited 
understanding of qooxdoo there seems to be some duplication of effort as 
the control is disabled directly in applyEnabled function of QxImage.js, 
but then a state appearance change is queued up. The change appears to be 
empty.

Maybe, don't know about that. Maybe installing the screen capture software 
has fixed it :-)

I'm using Win2K with all patches, IE6.0.2800.1106. I was using Fieldset_3. 
I created another test file with another 10 icons but it didn't show the 
problem.

Put it in the "look for" category.
