One final follow-up to this issue so that anybody who wants to expand the popup for their combo box can do so.
Sebastian's suggestion on April 10 was to use myComboBox.getPopup().getMaxHeight(150); I found that you cannot just do this when you create the combo box; I suspect that it has something to do with the fact that the DOM elements are not created yet. So what you have to do is add an event listener to the popup's 'appear' event: myComboBox.getPopup().addEventListener ('appear', function (e) { myComboBox.getPopup().setMaxHeight (800); }); Hope this helps somebody.
