Did you call update() after adding the items to the listview? I have not had any problems with getting listviews or treeviews to show dynamic content like this, but if you get really desperate, you might want to try this: QxWidget.flushGlobalQueues(); I'm sure this is frowned upon by the true gurus of Qooxdoo, but it has helped me to get other widgets to update themselves.
