I spent an hour or so yesterday looking at docuwiki and its capabilities,
including reviewing its source code. If it can be made to do what we need, a
wiki is certainly a good way to have this kind of collaborative work going on.

Although there is no existing support for printing a "book" from a set of wiki
pages (only printing a single page via the browser), it does not appear very
difficult to add that functionality by writing a new renderer. The problem is
with plugins, which would each need to be similarly modified.

Sebastian, do you have any non-standard plugins (i.e. not part of the docuwiki
distribution) installed or planned? If you do not have any non-standard
plugins installed nor do you plan to install any, then I would propose that
"THE OFFICIAL QOOXDOO HOWTO" be hosted on the wiki. If you have non-standard
plugins installed or plan to install any, then I'd still need to rethink,
based on which they are and how difficult writing renderers for them would be.

Cheers,

Derrell
