Hello, I don't have a big passionate opinion on this, all I care about is that my interests in code development are respected (for example, that xml syntax is not changed and emphasis is put on backward compatibility) and I have as little work as possible with this.
It might be easier with two projects because someone can be a contributor in this project without having to be admitted to the main project (until recently at least, you have been very restrictive with SVN access - one reason why I never asked). We could also sync repositories once in a while... Again, I don't care too much after all. However, I defer to Siarhei because he wrote most of this stuff.
