Probably to parse and replace the "&ouml" with the characters you want before you provide the text to the tooltip.

Hi list,
We are at the moment developing an administration system with the qooxdoo toolkit, which is working like a charm. However I have found one point where we are having a problem at the moment. If a tooltip contains characters such as : "ö" or "ä" the tooltip does not render these characters correctly, instead the HTML entity is displayed and the width of the tooltip is not correct either. This can be tested by doing : var tooltip = new qx.ui.popup.ToolTip ("ö"); Has anyone any solution to this problem? Unfortunately we cannot controll the characters sent to the tooltips.
