Hi, thanks everyone for the feedback we received on the proposed OO features!
While we strongly believe the improvements to be crucial for the future development of the framework, we were quite surprised and very happy about the extremely positive feedback from the qooxdoo community. Just excellent, we promise you won't be disappointed! ;-) Work will start within the next working day to migrate the remaining part of the framework in the SVN trunk to the new 0.7 features. This will provide important input for fine-tuning the auto-migration support and will also allow further testing of the new features in real-life scenarios. Migrating the SVN trunk will most likely make it unstable for several days. Developers should only update very carefully if they need to really continue working against with the latest trunk version.
