Hi list, Hope I've finally managed to sort out my email accounts mess, so the mails that I send to this list don't always bounce (Sorry Andreas!).
As I do a lot of work with PHP, I was interested in the story on Slashdot about Borland doing a Visual PHP version of Delphi. Reading through the (still rather sparse) files on the CodeGear web site, I came across the fact that Delphi for PHP is in fact a further development of the qStudio project, and uses qooxdoo for visual components! http://www.codegear.com/Products/Delphi/DelphiforPHP/tabid/237/Default.aspx Its looking like the big project I've had simmering away on a back burner for the last year or so might be getting underway soon, and as it would be based upon PHP and hopefully qooxdoo, having a supported commercial editor from a company like Borland would be a major plus (Aptana looks promising, but still has a long way to go...). Nice to see qooxdoo starting to become the JS framework of choice for serious projects -- great work guys! :-) Cheers, -Chris ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
