It mostly is (see http://qooxdoo.org/documentation/user_manual/rpc).  
The only thing missing is the automatic file:// detection (and  
setting up the RPC as cross-domain in this case). I'll try to add it  
in the near future - I have to think about the best way to explain  
this. It's not really complicated, but I can understand why it's  
confusing to newcomers.

Maybe it would be best to start the whole RPC documentation with a  
section explaining all the browser and security limitations that have  
lead to the current design. I think the RPC mechanism works very well  
for experienced developers with a strong background in web/ajax apps  
(and how to do things manually, without a framework). When one  
doesn't have that background, some things may look complicated or  
illogical.
