I think my first answer was misleading. 

You can set different Makefile variables to achieve this. 

For example:
  APPLICATION_THEME_ICON = qx.theme.icon.Nuvola
  APPLICATION_THEME_WIDGET = qx.theme.widget.Windows
  APPLICATION_THEME_COLOR = qx.theme.color.WindowsRoyale
  APPLICATION_THEME_APPEARANCE = qx.theme.appearance.Classic

These are the default values used in the core makefile. To change the values 
of these variables you just need to set them in your application makefile.
