This was also my impression with a local installation of the demo browser. Unfortunately there is only a 'light' version of Firebug for the Internet Explorer, but even if you access everything locally Firefox needs a few seconds to launch the demo whereas in IE it is almost immediately available. I guess Firefox just takes longer to process the Javascript initially.
