Why do you not want to edit the data in a qooxdoo managed window? It's a lot
easier then trying to manipulate native windows and will give your app a
consistent look and feel.

Hello everyone. I have a question about native windows and how to
interact with them. Here is what I'd like to do:
In a qooxdoo application we have a number of modules, some of which have
data that the user can edit. I'd like to have a button on the module
that the user can click to bring up an editor in a native window for the
data, or if the editor is already open, load the data for the module the
user has clicked. What I think this requires is to be able to
communicate between the application in one window and the editor in
another native window.
Is it possible to create a native window and add qooxdoo widgets to it
from the application running in another window? If it is, do events pass
between the two?
I'm interested in any advice I can get .
Thank you.
