Why is USE_ARRAY_JOIN set to false by default? I think array joins and setting
the innerHTML should be much faster than doing DOM manipulations. See:

Can you do the same pofile using
qx.ui.table.pane.Pane.USE_ARRAY_JOIN = false;
and using the attached direct cellrenderer please?
You have to change the extension from .j_ to .js and you have to adapt
the namespace to your needs. Give it a try.
