Hey there, I'm new here, I'm from Karlsruhe/Germany and my name is Christian.

I am concerned about the following situation:
I need to mark some qx.ui.basic.Labels as headline, but I don't want to
style them with <h1> and CSS, so I tried to assign an appearance to those
labels, called "headline-1".
I created my own meta theme (and its appearance theme), in which
"headline-1" exists. It works.
But I want to switch between qooxdoo-given themes: "Classic Windows", "Ext",
my own theme, ...
The other themes don't know my "headline-1" appearance and they seem to have
no fallback/default appearance, if the appearance is not known. (I even
suppose, it's the browser's default style used then)
Is there any solution *without* manipulating all those others themes?

I posted a bug (serverity=enhancement) to suggest extending the
setAppearance method
http://bugzilla.qooxdoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=626
Afterwards I remembered, that there is a developer mailing list, where I
might had asked before. Too late.
What's your opinion?

Sorry if I'm totally wrong here in that mailing list.

Best wishes,
Christian
