Mhh, I am not sure. It should be possible to replace it at, maybe
exactly the same, position then before. You need to find the code
where the named colors are applied it modifiy it to call
tableModel.getColor(row) instead. Should not be not hard.

It was actually quite easy. Using a mixin, I added a Color array to
the SimpleTableModel that held a color value for each row. This
information was set before creating the table. Then in the Pane.js
file, there was a line that set the row color, I changed it to:
rowElem.style.color = tableModel.getColor(row);
and that was all it took. It added no additional rendering time and
it accomplished my needs. Now it looks like changing a row color is
going to be much more difficult and require a lot more code.
