I think it is still amazing what a time-saver the semi-automatic migration support is given the massive code changes (e.g. new OO syntax/features in 0.7). Anyway, besides the more or less automatic migration to 0.7 http://qooxdoo.org/documentation/0.7/migration_support , there are also some manual changes required (e.g. for legacy properties as you mentioned) that are documented in http://qooxdoo.org/documentation/0.7/skeleton_rework_after_migration#properties If you discover some migration problems that have not been documented yet, please do so by editing this article, Thanks, and good luck.
