I cannot reproduce this problem. If a button gets disabled only the text
color is changed.
Maybe the background color of your button has the same color as the
disabled text. This way the text can become "invisible".
You can check this color by looking at the color theme
("qx.theme.modern.Color" or "qx.theme.classic.Color") at the entry
"text-disabled". This color is used as default for texts at disabled
widgets.
