I do two things to disable the log window:
qx.log.Logger.ROOT_LOGGER.removeAllAppenders();
qx.log.Logger.ROOT_LOGGER.setMinLevel(qx.log.Logger.LEVEL_ERROR);
The first one disables the log window popup and the second reduces the error
level. I'm not sure if you need the second if you have the first line, but I
do them both anyway for my release software. For debugging I use FireFox
with FireBug and all my log entries go to the FireBug console.
