As you can see here, http://n2.nabble.com/help/Answer.jtp?id=36 Nabble2's embedding capability looks nice. Why not embed the forum directly to the website instead of having then look around first? Of course they still need to subscribe to the sourceforge mailing list, but that is quite easy. When trying to post a message, it also alerts the person they might need to sign up.
