Hi List,
I have recently started playing with Qx 0.8, and in particularl the unit
test runner. It's very nice -- but I have one gripe which may be because i
am not using it properly.
It seems that every time I touch either the application-under-test source
code, or the unit-test source code and want to run my tests again, I have
to:
1) run generate.py test or generate.py test-source again,
2) reload the test runner in the browser,
3) then click the go button.
This is a bit of a slow process if I am doing it constantly during a coding
session, especially when the generate step starts taking 10, 20 or more
seconds. I am not certain that I should *need* to run the generate step
again every time when I am running from a generate source version of the
application-under-test, but the test-runner doesn't pick up my changes
without it.
Am I using the test framework correctly? Or is there a nicer way?
Thanks,
Simon
