Staying with IE is ok (although not great; as others have said, IE
performance is way below either Firefox or Webkit). What you REALLY want to
do is get away from IE6. It is *incredibly* slow compared even to IE7. IE8
is about to be released. IE6 is really quite antique, and just doesn't have
the performance of modern browsers and really isn't up to the task of
running modern applications. If at all possible, at least use IE7. I'd
think your client-side VB should work there as well.
