I hope my first response to this did not seem too aggressive - it horrified me. I'd like you to understand the significance of this for me. Building complex AJAX applications with a single fixed font size is simply not acceptable from an accessibility point of view, nor is having alternate versions to download. My users MUST be able to (quickly and easily) try a different range of font sizes until they find one they can work with. 12 months ago I invested several months of development using qooxdoo. Generally I loved it, but this adaptability issue became a show-stopper for my use of qooxdoo. Because of that I had to go and try other JS frameworks (EXTJS, DOJO and doing my own). Frankly, overall qooxdoo still wins - and by so much that I've decided to come back and stay. With 0.8 It appears the layout classes have improved considerably (or maybe it's just my understanding of them). Soooo, if I can just get dynamic font changes working I'll be sorted - quoxdoo for ever! Your reply above reads like you are (attitudinally) going backwards and it worries me for the future - what other usability aspects might you take out of future releases? It feels like you believe that rapid, easy adaptation to users' needs and preferences does not matter. It does! Please assure me you undersand this.
