To be honest, there is no qooxdoo application, which looks like this 
slide. I have arranged screenshots of single widgets in the presentation 
program. Nonetheless we do want to write a showcase application, which 
demonstrates most of qooxdoo's widgets in one application. We had this 
in 0.7 and we feel that something like this is still missing for 0.8.

I guess you only watched the slideshare presentation. Make sure you read 
the annotated version I've provided as additional download. You don't 
have to manually slice the four images into nine pieces each. We have a 
special generator job, which can do this for us.

I plan to write a tutorial for the theming part but please be a bit 
patient with me. Right now I will not release the code of the example 
because I used screen shots of the OSX calculator. Apple sued people 
building KDE apple themes using Apple art work in the past and I don't 
ant to take this risk. So before I can write the tutorial I need new art 
work :-)
