Hi Alex, I understand now I was not clear ;-) In fact I just want the behavior but I don't want to add a link on screen. I have a qooXdoo table and on a double click I want to open a link on a new tab, like the href would do but there is no link nowhere on screen.
finally, I use a window.open in javascript but I'm not sure if it is "100% qooXdoo certified" approach and if it is portable across various browser ? I also give a try to another approach : use a qooXdoo iFrame exactly like the browser in the showcase, but I got "unresponsive script" dialog box for chrome://firebug/content/lib.js:3115 Unfortunatly, I'm now too short in time to debug that ...
