Well, two of us so far. But two good ones. And two is a lot when it comes to Lisp. :) Actually, I would have expected that they like > Javascript anyway (Phillip Wadler considers Javascript "an impure > functional programming language") Absolutely. First class functions, untyped variables, association lists... we're right at home. , but that we are a bit too OO-ish, so > to speak ;). Shucks, no. Have you heard of CLOS? Multiple inheritance, multimethods, metaclass hacking. Very popular, tho Paul Graham (see "Arc") and Dick Gabriel hate OO. A few years ago someone even gave a talk at the bi-annual Lisp conference saying JS *was* Lisp and we should switch to that. Not well received, I must admit. :) cheers, ken -- http://www.theoryyalgebra.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ qooxdoo-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/qooxdoo-devel
