Hi Fabian,

maybe this can be interesting research and if I will have time for it
I do it. Canvas based controls can be really fast compared to DOM
based ones. There will be probably some limitations (for how to get
text size, line wrapping, etc -- these automatic html features canvas
hasn't) but virtual containers with onpaint() handlers can be
interesting feature.
