Further investigation showed, that when one of the Col 1x columns
is set to invisible, that last visible column (Col 3 in the example)
suddenly takes up all the available width.
So I have now a work around (forcing this last column to it's intended fixed
size), but it seems to me that something in the width calculation code is
broken.
