JFreechart ? OK, it's a java lib, but designed to work for web on the server, so it should be possible to get generated images via simple URL so if hosted on the same server than your current application, a simple HTTP call from server to server should be enough.
I'm using a PHP backend for my qooxdoo apps and I''m already using that arch for some business servlet but I'll use it sooner or later for JFreechat (except if that thread open my mind to other possibilities) : Qooxdoo client <-json orver HTTP on Internet-> PHP backend <-HTTP on localhost-> Java backend running JFreechart and other business Servlet. Not sure if that explanation is clear, but feel free to ask for precisions :-) On 4 Mar 2009, at 12:43, Dietrich Streifert wrote: > Hello everybody! > > I'm currently evaluating possibilites to integrate charting features > in > an existing qooxdoo 0.7.4 application. > > Has anybody done this, besides using server generated images? > > Are there other libraries which integrate well with qooxdoo? > > I had a look at jscharts (www.jscharts.com) which seems to have what > I need. > > Any idea or help would be great! > > Thank you. > > Best regards. > > > -- > Mit freundlichen Grüßen > Dietrich Streifert > -- > Visionet GmbH > Firmensitz: Am Weichselgarten 7, 91058 Erlangen > Registergericht: Handelsregister Fürth, HRB 6573 > Geschäftsführer: Stefan Lindner > > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Open Source Business Conference (OSBC), March 24-25, 2009, San > Francisco, CA > -OSBC tackles the biggest issue in open source: Open Sourcing the > Enterprise > -Strategies to boost innovation and cut costs with open source > participation > -Receive a $600 discount off the registration fee with the source > code: SFAD > http://p.sf.net/sfu/XcvMzF8H > _______________________________________________ > qooxdoo-devel mailing list > [email protected] > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/qooxdoo-devel > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Open Source Business Conference (OSBC), March 24-25, 2009, San Francisco, CA -OSBC tackles the biggest issue in open source: Open Sourcing the Enterprise -Strategies to boost innovation and cut costs with open source participation -Receive a $600 discount off the registration fee with the source code: SFAD http://p.sf.net/sfu/XcvMzF8H _______________________________________________ qooxdoo-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/qooxdoo-devel
