Hello Alessandro,

to change the open/closed icons of a tree item or tree folder, you have to create your own appearance and overwrite the entries with values of your own.

The easiest way to achieve this is to extend the "Modern" theme [1] and modify the entries for "tree-folder".

Cheers,
Jonathan

Dear Qooxdooxers,

I modified the demo "JsonToTree" to customize the icons of the tree, so that the documents in the folders would not all look like folders. To do that, I used to the code employed in the "JsonToList" example, assigned each item of
the list a "type", which links to an icon. So far so good.

The only, small, problem is that open and closed folders look all the same.
How can I specify a "open folder" and "closed folder" icon?

Thanks!
Alessandro
