You can find sources of this project in qooxdoo/source/class/* .
Tr.js, you mentioned, is packaged script (build version, ready for
production).

To modify them you can use any text editor or if you would like more
advanced stuff, you can try:
1) http://qooxdoo.org/contrib/project/qxdt?s=jsdt
2) http://qooxdoo.org/contrib/project/textmate?s=textmate  (if you're
Mac OS user)

Right place to start is http://qooxdoo.org/documentation/0.7 .

Make sure that license allows doing any modifications (I'm not a
lawyer, just thought). May be Tobias can clarify this.
